Mad Hatters Tea Party

When I first saw these beautiful hand-painted tea cups and saucers by Two’s Company, I fell in love. I have been looking for ideas that are typically associated with the forest and would love to create a Midsummer Night’s Dream theme for my wedding. Nothing too over the top or silly but I can’t help wanting to add little touches of magic. I am not quite sure exactly where this concept is going yet but somewhere in the back of my mind, a type of woodsy and natural style is evolving with hints of folklore and I know the objects when I see them. These beauties are definitely fit the bill and I have sent off for them pronto.

A Cup of Tea Set

Having now stirred once again my hunger for all things woodland, I went on the hunt for more of these delicious creations and low and behold, much to my delight there were several other designs available from Madison Ave Gifts. I really love the English tea party look too – something I am keen to incorporate into this wedding theme. I can just imagine these little cups at the Mad Hatters tea party in Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland. They are fun, fun, fun! I want to drink from one of these everyday but they are almost too beautiful. My poor old Tigger mug will never look the same…
